Glass neon explainer
Prism
A free Claude skill for glass-neon explainer reels
It explains one thing, fast. A claim (this lets you do X, even Y, without paying for Z), what it is, what it does, the answer as a list, then "comment KEYWORD". It all happens on one synthwave night: a violet sky full of stars over a glowing teal grid. Every beat brings one glass object with a neon rim, right on its word: tiles whose locks flip open, glass slabs that stack into a structure, a spinning cube, a wire globe, a terminal that types, a price that counts up, a prism that splits a beam into a neon fan. The headline at the top fills in word by word as it is said, key words in neon, a dark caption pill shows two or three words with the spoken one underlined, and scenes blur away or collapse into a streak of light.

What it makes
- One neon-rimmed glass object per beat that lands on its word: tiles, slabs, a cube, a globe, terminals, rows, counters, a prism
- A big headline that fills in word by word as it is said, key words in the scene's neon
- A dark caption pill with two or three words at a time, the spoken word underlined
- Locks that flip open, prices that get struck through, a stack that builds from 01/08 to 08/08
- Blur and light-streak transitions, and a comment box that types your keyword and gets a DM back
Best for: Showing off a tool, a skill or a free resource in about 40 seconds: what it does, why it matters and how to get it.

What you need
- Node 22 or newer
- Chrome or Edge
- ffmpeg
- An ElevenLabs API key (the free plan works to try it)
35 to 50 seconds · One quick voice, with free estimated timings before you spend any credits · Its own synthesized sounds and synth bed, about 5 minutes to draw a 40-second reel
How to use it
- Morphy: it's built in. Open Settings → Community → Playground → Skills, kind Content, and add Prism to a chat in one click.
- Claude Code: save the file as
~/.claude/skills/prism/SKILL.md, with the reference frames beside it asreference.jpg, then ask for a video or run/prism. - Codex or any other agent: add it as a skill, or attach the file to your first message.
Your first video
Make a 40-second Prism reel: the free tool that turns one long video into ten short clips.
The agent checks your setup, writes the script, makes the voice, renders a few stills to check and then every frame, and hands you the MP4. Posting it is up to you.
Questions
- Is the Prism format really free?
- Yes. Download the .md file: no account, no email, no paywall. Use it for as many videos as you like.
- What do the voices cost?
- The voice comes from ElevenLabs. Its free plan is enough to try the format (about 10,000 credits a month, roughly one per character of script). Posting videos that promote anything needs a paid plan for the commercial licence, from $6 a month.
- Does it work with Codex too?
- Yes. It's a standard SKILL.md, the skill format Claude Code and Codex both read, and Morphy has it built in. Any other agent that can run code can follow it if you attach the file.
- Do I have to label the video as AI?
- On Instagram, a reel narrated by a realistic AI voice needs Meta's AI info label; switch it on when you post. On YouTube and TikTok, check the AI disclosure setting when the content looks realistic.
