Paper 3D

Paper

A free Claude skill for papercraft diorama reels

Everything is cut from paper. Orange block characters sit in leather armchairs in a TV studio whose grid windows light up, a giant paper shark chews the hook, and flat paper dioramas show how things work: a conveyor, a wall of sticky notes, an office. A taped paper banner titles every beat, the captions land word by word on orange paper tags, a blue news chyron carries the key fact and round speech bubbles show who is talking. It ends on a big COMMENT bubble.

What it makes

  • A papercraft TV studio, a corridor and three flat paper dioramas, built in three.js
  • Orange paper characters in outfits that lean in, grab, hop and hold up signs
  • A taped paper banner for every beat and word-by-word paper captions
  • A blue news chyron, speech bubbles with drawn faces and a COMMENT bubble at the end
  • One fast narrator: a single ElevenLabs take, tightened to the format's pace

Best for: Stories with characters and a twist: what someone sells you, how a scheme works, why something should be free.

What you need

  • Node 22 or newer
  • Chrome or Edge
  • ffmpeg
  • An ElevenLabs API key (the free plan works to try it)
  • A graphics card
  • three.js (the agent installs it)

25 to 40 seconds · One voice, tightened to about 265 words a minute · Rendered on your graphics card, about 3 minutes for a 30-second reel

How to use it

  1. Morphy: it's built in. Open Settings → Community → Library.md and add Paper to a chat in one click.
  2. Claude Code: save the file as ~/.claude/skills/paper/SKILL.md, with the reference frames beside it as reference.jpg, then ask for a video or run /paper.
  3. Codex or any other agent: add it as a skill, or attach the file to your first message.

Your first video

Make a 30-second Paper reel: the three subscriptions you don't need, told as a TV pitch.

The agent checks your setup, writes the script, makes the voice, renders a few stills to check and then every frame, and hands you the MP4. Posting it is up to you.

Questions

Is the Paper format really free?
Yes. Download the .md file: no account, no email, no paywall. Use it for as many videos as you like.
What do the voices cost?
The voice comes from ElevenLabs. Its free plan is enough to try the format (about 10,000 credits a month, roughly one per character of script). Posting videos that promote anything needs a paid plan for the commercial licence, from $6 a month.
Does it work with Codex too?
Yes. It's a standard SKILL.md, the skill format Claude Code and Codex both read, and Morphy has it built in. Any other agent that can run code can follow it if you attach the file.
Do I have to label the video as AI?
On Instagram, a reel narrated by a realistic AI voice needs Meta's AI info label; switch it on when you post. On YouTube and TikTok, check the AI disclosure setting when the content looks realistic.
