I gave away the skill behind my reels: the file my AI agent follows to make every 3D Claude reel on @agentmorphy, including one that passed 1.1 million views. Free, no email (it's here).
Then it showed up for sale. Same format, a new cover, a $30 price tag.
A $30 text file
The listing called it "Claude Content Skill", a "premium .md pack". What's inside: one file, SKILL.md. My file, with the same sections, the same lines and the same rules I wrote down while making my reels.
I don't mind people charging for their own work. A good content skill takes weeks: make a video, notice what looks wrong, turn the note into a rule, make the next one. Charge for that if you like. Reselling someone else's free file as a premium product is something else, and the people paying for it have no way to know.
What a Claude skill actually is
A skill is a Markdown file, usually called SKILL.md, with the instructions an AI agent follows for one kind of job. Claude Code and Codex both read them, and so does Morphy. It's text: you can open it in Notepad, read every line and change whatever you don't like.
What makes a content skill worth using isn't a premium label. It's proof: a real video made with it, so you can see what you'll get before you spend an evening on it.
My answer: Library.md
So instead of one free skill, I'm building a whole library of them: Library.md. Each format is one SKILL.md that takes your agent from a topic to a finished vertical video for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. Each one comes with a real example of what it makes, and most with reference frames for the agent to match.
Four are in it now:
- Dev talks to Claude: the one that started this. A developer and Claude bicker about the code in a low-poly 3D room, with two voices and subtitles.
- Ink: kinetic typography. One giant word, number or drawing per beat on black, charcoal and cream, landing on the word as it's said.
- Voxel: a blocky Claude and a creator act out every sentence on a desk by a night-city window.
- Clay: warm paper and terracotta motion graphics, with headlines that slot in word by word.
All four are faceless: no camera, no filming. More are on the way.
The deal
- No paywalls. The whole file, not a preview.
- No subscriptions. Nothing monthly to cancel.
- No strings attached. No account, no email. A text file, nothing more.
The videos you make are yours. The only thing that can cost money is the voice: the formats use ElevenLabs, whose free plan is enough to try one. Posting videos that promote anything needs its paid plan for the commercial licence, from $6 a month.
How to use one
- Pick a format on appmorphy.com/formats and download its
.mdfile. - Give it to your agent:
- Claude Code: save it as
~/.claude/skills/<name>/SKILL.md, with its reference frames (if it has them) beside it asreference.jpg. Then ask for a video, or type/<name>. - Codex or another agent: add it as a skill, or attach the file to your first message.
- Morphy: open Settings → Skills, click Import… and pick the file, then choose it with
/in a chat. I'm building Library.md into Morphy itself, so every format will be one click away.
- Claude Code: save it as
- Ask for it: "Make a TikTok in this format about…" and your topic. The agent writes the script, makes the voice, checks a few stills and renders the video.
You need Node, Chrome or Edge and ffmpeg on your computer. Every format checks for them in its first minute and tells you what's missing.
Before you pay for a content skill
Ask what's inside. If the answer is "1 file · SKILL.md", look for it for free first: Library.md is a good place to start.
Made a format that works? Send it to me on Discord. The good ones go in the library, free, like everything else in it.
Questions
Are Claude skills free? Most of them, yes. A skill is a text file, and plenty are shared openly. The formats in Library.md are free and stay free.
Do these work with Codex? Yes. SKILL.md is the skill format both Claude Code and Codex read. Any other agent that can run code can follow one if you attach the file.
Can I post the videos? Yes, they're yours. On Instagram, a reel narrated by a realistic AI voice needs Meta's AI info label, so switch it on when you post.
