Your first ten minutes
A short walkthrough: your first card, your own project, two agents side by side and focus mode.
This walkthrough assumes Morphy is installed and at least one AI is connected. If not, start with Install Morphy and Connect your AI.

Ask Morphy for a card
Morphy's chat is the one in the middle of your canvas. Type:
Make me a card with my three priorities for this week: launch the landing page, answer support mail, plan the next release.
A card appears on your canvas. It stays there, and you can ask Morphy to change it any time: "add a checkbox to each one". Read more about cards.
Make a project for your own folder
Click the New project button (the folder icon) at the top of the sidebar. Give it a name, click Choose… to pick a folder you work in (a code repository, for example), and click Create project.
The project opens on its own canvas, with an overview card. Every chat you start here works in that folder. See Projects and canvases.
Start two agents
On the project's canvas:
- Double-click an empty spot for a Claude chat.
- Double right-click another spot for a Codex chat.
(If the AI a gesture makes isn't connected, it uses one you have connected. Only using Ollama? Pick it for both in Settings → General: Morphy never chooses Ollama by itself.)
Give both the same task, for example: "Read this project and suggest the three changes that would help most."
Watch them side by side
Drag a box around both chats to select them, then click Focus in the toolbar above them. They fill the screen side by side. Drag the gap between them to resize, and press Esc when you're done. The focus view is saved, so you can come back to it from its tab. See Focus mode.
Get a ping when they finish
Select a chat and click the bell in the toolbar. When the agent is done, or needs you, a chime plays. Now you can work on something else.
Let Morphy run them for you
Go back to Morphy's chat (the Canvas tab) and try:
Which of my chats are done? Summarise what they suggested.
Morphy checks every chat and reports back. It can also start chats for you: see Morphy, your assistant.
Good to know
- Ctrl + K finds any project, canvas, chat or card, and brings back chats and cards you deleted in the last 3 days.
- Ctrl + Z undoes almost anything on the canvas.
- Ctrl + Shift + B opens a terminal and a browser for the project.
- New chats don't ask before changing files. If you'd rather approve each change, set Settings → General → New chats start in to Ask first. See Permissions.
