Morphy cockpit

The Morphy cockpit, part of Pro: your Morphy chat in the middle, your number cards on two rails beside it, and the chats to continue underneath, in one tab above Home.

The Morphy cockpit is a tab of its own for Morphy. Your Morphy chat sits in the middle, your numbers on small cards on a rail each side, and the chats to continue in a row underneath. It's part of Pro. It isn't in the installer: you download it, so it shows nowhere until you install it.

Install it

  1. Open Settings → Community → Apps.
  2. Under Available, click Install next to Morphy cockpit. On Freemium it says Part of Pro, with Get Pro.
  3. Morphy downloads it, checks it and opens it. From then on its row sits above Home in the sidebar, wearing Morphy in the style you picked under Personalization.

Morphy checks every Pro download before it runs it (see Security). Under Your apps the cockpit shows its version. Updates come by themselves and are used from the next time Morphy starts. When Morphy itself updates, the cockpit's version for it downloads along with it. If you leave Pro, it stays installed and comes back when you have Pro again.

What it shows

  • The middle: your Morphy chat, the same one as on the canvas. Type in it as usual. Above it are a hello line with the date, how many chats need you or are working (click it to open the first one that needs you), and the clock.
  • More Morphy chats: double-click an empty spot on the floor, or click New chat in the ⋯ at the top right, to put another Morphy chat beside the first. They share the middle: drag the gap between two to resize them, double-click the gap to even them out, or drag a title onto another to swap them. Each one's × closes it.
  • The inbox: the chats to continue, as in the sidebar's Continue. A ringing bell comes first, then the chats waiting on you, the working ones and the ones that finished last, 16 at most. Each tile shows the chat's name and AI, a line (the request it waits on, its latest step, or what it said last), where it lives and how long ago. Scroll it sideways with the wheel or ‹ ›. Its + makes a new chat in Home or a project and opens it here.
  • The rails: your number cards, small, three places on each side. Each one shows the number that fits what you're talking about with Morphy, and lights up while you talk about it. Click one to open the card it stands for.

A click on a tile or a rail card opens the real chat or card big, growing out of where you clicked, and the rest dims. Esc, a click on its tile or a click beside it puts it back. Ctrl+← and Ctrl+→ open the one before or after.

Your number cards

The rails hold rail cards. These are ordinary cards made for the cockpit, each standing for one or more of your cards with numbers (a card showing revenue or sign-ups, say: see Build cards). The first time, the cockpit makes one for each card with numbers it finds. With none yet, the rails show empty places and a Make my number cards button: click it, and Morphy asks which numbers you want to keep an eye on, then makes the cards.

Ask Morphy to change them like any card: "make my rail cards look like dials", or "one card for MRR and sign-ups together, two places tall, on the right". A rail card can be one, two or three places tall, ask for a side, and stand for several cards. If you have more than fit, ask for a stack (cards that share one place and flip with a swipe), or for a side that scrolls.

Only the rail cards the cockpit made and the ones Morphy makes for you count. A card from someone else that carries the rail tag gets none of your numbers.

Turn it off

In Settings → Community → Apps → Your apps, turn off the switch next to Morphy cockpit. It goes the next time Morphy starts, and its canvas, with its rail cards, stays hidden until you turn it back on.
