Install Morphy
Download Morphy for Windows, get past the Windows warning, sign in and connect your first AI.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. A Mac version is on the way: join the Discord to hear when it's ready.
- An account with at least one AI you want to use: Claude, ChatGPT (for Codex), GitHub Copilot, Google (for Antigravity), Grok or OpenRouter. OpenRouter has free models, and Ollama runs models on your own computer, so you can start without paying anything. See Connect your AI.
- An internet connection for signing in, for updates and for every AI except Ollama's local models.
You don't need admin rights, and you don't need to install anything else to use Claude: it comes built into Morphy. Some other AIs need a small command-line tool, which Connect your AI walks you through.
Install
Download
Go to get.appmorphy.com and click Get Morphy. You can answer three short questions about what you'd like Morphy to help with, or skip them. The next screen shows the Windows warning you're about to see; click Got it — download Morphy and the installer, Morphy-Setup.exe (about 170 MB), downloads.
Get past the Windows warning
Open Morphy-Setup.exe from your downloads. Windows will probably show a blue Windows protected your PC screen. That's expected: Morphy is new and isn't signed with a paid Microsoft certificate yet, so Windows doesn't recognise it.
- Click More info.
- Click Run anyway.
Let it install
There's nothing to choose. Morphy installs for your Windows user in a few seconds, adds a shortcut to your desktop and Start menu, and opens by itself.
Sign in with Google
Click Let's dive in, then Continue with Google. Your browser opens on Google's sign-in page. Pick your account and come back to Morphy. Morphy only receives your Google account ID, name, email address and profile picture, nothing else from your Google account.
If the browser tab closed or Google showed an error, click Open Google again after a few seconds.
Bring your agents (optional)
Connect the AI plans you already have:
- Claude signs in with your Claude plan. A small terminal window opens and sends you to your browser to finish.
- Codex signs in with your ChatGPT account. It needs the Codex command-line tool; Morphy shows you how to install it.
You can skip this and connect any AI later in Settings → Account, including Grok, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, OpenRouter and Ollama. Click Enter Morphy to open your canvas.
Your first canvas
Morphy opens with two things side by side: Morphy's chat, your assistant on the canvas, and a Welcome to Morphy card with the 2-minute tour. Say hello to Morphy, or read Your first ten minutes for a short walkthrough.
If you close the sign-in window before signing in, Morphy closes too. Just open it again.
Updates
Morphy updates itself. New versions download in the background and install the next time you quit Morphy. Nothing to click, and your canvas, chats and cards stay as they are.
- See your version: at the bottom of the sidebar ("Morphy 0.1.10"), or at the top of Settings → General.
- Prefer to choose when? Turn off Install updates automatically in Settings → General. Morphy then tells you when a new version is out. Click Install when it suits you: it downloads, and installs the next time you quit.
- What changed: every version and its notes are on the Releases page.
If agents are still working when you quit, Morphy asks first: Keep working or Quit anyway.
Uninstall
Open Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps (on Windows 10: Settings → Apps → Apps & features), find Morphy and choose Uninstall.
Uninstalling removes the app, but keeps your data folder (%APPDATA%\Morphy): your canvases, cards, chats, notes and keys. If you reinstall later, everything is still there. To remove it all, delete that folder after uninstalling. See Your files for what's in it.
To also delete your Morphy account record (your name and email on our side), email casper.apers@gmail.com from the address you signed in with.
