Focus mode

Tile the chats and cards you're working with so they fill the screen, and come back to that view in one click.

Focus mode takes a few chats and cards off the canvas and tiles them so they fill the whole screen. Use it to watch several agents work at once, or to give one card all the room it needs.

Open a focus

  1. Select the chats and cards you want (drag a box around them, or Shift + click).
  2. Click the Focus button in the toolbar above them.

With one item selected, it fills the screen. With several, they're tiled side by side.

Other ways in:

  • Start fresh: click + next to a project (or press Ctrl + K → New canvas in …) and switch to Focus. Pick Claude or Codex, how many agents (2, 3, 4, 6 or 8) and, if you like, a Starting prompt that every agent gets as soon as it starts. Ctrl + Enter opens it.
  • Recent sets: hover the Focus button to see your last two focus sets, and click one to bring it back.
  • Ask Morphy: say "I want to work on the website" and Morphy opens the chats and cards that belong to that topic (see Morphy, your assistant).
  • Open a swarm: double-click a swarm to tile its chats.

There's no keyboard shortcut for focus by default, but you can set one: Focus mode on the selected cards in the shortcut sheet.

The view doesn't pan or zoom in focus mode. Scrolling scrolls whichever tile is under your pointer.

Leave focus

Press Esc, or click a canvas tab or a canvas in the sidebar. Your chats and cards are back on the canvas where they were.

Focus views are saved

Every focus is saved automatically under the project you're in, with its own tab and a row in the sidebar, named after what's in it (for example "Chat A + Chat B +3"). When you leave, the layout is saved as it is. Click the tab or the sidebar row later and you get the same tiles in the same places.

Right-click a focus view to rename or delete it. Drag one onto another project in the sidebar to move it there.
