Settings
Every section of Settings and what's in it.
Open Settings with Ctrl + ,, the gear at the bottom of the sidebar, or Ctrl + K → Settings. It reopens on the section you used last. Esc closes it.
General
- Morphy version and your Data folder (where everything is stored; see Your files).
- Updates: Install updates automatically (on by default). See Updates.
- Agents:
- Morphy runs on: the AI behind Morphy, your assistant.
- New chats start in: the permission mode new chats get: No guardrails, Auto-accept edits, Ask first or Plan only.
- Double-click makes and Double right-click makes: which AI each gesture on the canvas starts. Double-click also decides what New chat buttons make.
- Keep processor cores free: agents always run at lower priority so your own work comes first. With this on, they also stay off a third of your processor cores while they build or render. Some antivirus programs dislike how Windows is asked to do that, so it's off by default.
- Layout: show or hide the Sidebar and the Terminal and browser dock, and open the Keyboard shortcuts.
- Help shape Morphy: a link to the Discord.
Account
Your Google account, then Connections: one card per AI with its status and what you can do, like Connect, Reconnect, Sign out or Check again. At the bottom, Workspace keys (.env) opens your API keys file as a card. See Connect your AI.
Plan usage
How much of your Claude and Codex plans you've used, and when each limit resets. Refresh updates it. You can also see it from the canvas: select a chat and click Plan usage in the toolbar.
Activity
Your agents' work over time: Daily activity (prompts, tokens and lines of code over 14, 30 or 90 days), your Rhythm (when in the week you work), and Shipped by your agents, the work they finished in the last 30 days.
Appearance
The canvas background: built-in wallpapers, animated shaders and your own images or videos. See Wallpapers.
Dashboard
An overview of everything: what's working now, turns and tokens today, the work your agents shipped (by kind of work or by model), your plan usage, your streak, recently shipped work, your top projects and what's on your canvas.
Skills
Your library of skills: create, edit, import and delete them.
Morphy Agent
Which AI runs Morphy, the three instruction files Morphy reads before every message, its folder, and the keys it can reach (Connections). See Morphy, your assistant.
