Routines and rules

Let Morphy do things for you: open your cockpit at nine, put a chat that needs you on the Stage, have one AI review another's work.

Some things you do every day the same way. Tell Morphy once and it does them for you:

  • "Every weekday at 9, open my Cockpit."
  • "When a chat needs me, put it on the Stage."
  • "When Codex finishes, have Claude review what it did."
  • "After 7 pm, switch to dark and calm."
  • "When I open Morphy, open my Website project."

Ask in Morphy's chat, in your own words. Morphy makes it, and a line at the foot of the screen says what it made, with Undo.

Routines and rules

A routine runs at a time (on the days you pick: every day, weekdays, weekends, or some of them) or each time Morphy starts. A rule runs when something happens to a chat: it finishes a turn, its turn fails, or it needs you (it asks to run something, or asks you a question). A rule can be about any chat, one AI's chats, a project's chats, or one chat.

Each one can:

  • Open a place: a saved focus, a project, a canvas, a card or a chat.
  • Put chats in focus, side by side or on the Stage.
  • Change the look: anything in Personalization.
  • Show a notification. Click it to go to the chat it's about.
  • Send a chat a message, as if you typed it, with the other chat's last answer if you like. This one is part of Pro, like Send later.

Where they are

Settings → Routines lists them in two groups: At a time, or when Morphy starts and When a chat finishes or needs you. Each has a switch, Run now (routines) and × to remove it; Undo at the foot of the screen brings it back. To change one, ask Morphy.

Good to know

  • They run while Morphy is open. A time missed while your computer slept still runs when it wakes, within the hour; a time missed while Morphy was closed doesn't. Use "when Morphy starts" for that.
  • A turn that a rule started never starts another rule, so two chats can't keep messaging each other.
  • A rule that runs more than 30 times in an hour turns itself off, and Settings says why.
  • They can't run commands on your computer, open websites or change your settings beyond the look. For several agents working on a schedule, use a flow.
